Job Purpose:
The senior developer is expected to be a bright, imaginative and capable technologist. The job holder is required to apply innovative technologies in their development, adhering to software methodologies, in order to ensure the company’s objectives are met. That includes document and/or understanding technical designs, being able to do development in various platforms, write/perform unit tests and conduct system testing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Ability to complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, functionality, design, development, testing and support, specializing in .NET (C#)
- Ability to develop large scale web/database applications using ASP .NET, SQL Server 2012+, C#
- Deliver excellent, interactive web solutions with JSON, jQuery, HTML5
- Must be proficient in angular with at least 2 year experience
- Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines
- Ability to communicate clearly with business users and project manager
- Liaise with development team and management to ensure smooth project progression
- Ability to work and lead a team, helping individuals where required
- Ability to produce a technical design, liaise with the team (workshops and team meetings) describing the design
- Able to breakdown large tasks into smaller more manageable work packages
- Able to provide estimates for work packages
- Able to guide members in the team
- Is responsible for delivering the frequent product releases
- Works with the technical leaders in agreeing and adhering to the overall architecture
- Conducting system testing while providing support for all systems in a pilot and/or live environment
- Acts effectively as a member of a team delivering software or a report in close collaboration with the customer and other project members
- Demonstrates a sound understanding of the requirements and how these may be met by the application of appropriate technology
- Capable of working with the client staff to identify system requirements
- Capable of explaining architecture convincingly to the client and to the development team
- In depth knowledge of the business processes and can propose relevant technical solutions
- Has documented clearly the technical outcome of a project so in such a way that the knowledge can be exploited in future projects

Qualifications & Skills:

- Degree in Computer Science or related field of expertise
- Minimum 5 years’ work experience in a development role
- Proven experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including, C#, ASP.NET (non-MVC), ADO.NET, WCF, ASP .NET web services, REST web services
- Languages: C#, SQL/T-SQL, JavaScript, HTML, XML, jQuery, Angular
- Design, development and unit testing code
